My passion is storytelling, and my goal in all of my projects is to capture authentic emotion in even the smallest, most nuanced and delicate moments. From precious family portraits, to intimate engagement shoots, to elegant or funky weddings, I always seek to convey my clients’ personalities, their unique backgrounds, and the stories behind their relationships.  My photography style is spontaneous and candid, and I’m heavily influenced by more than fifteen years of working as a journalist. I’ve traveled the world doing documentary and portrait photography, and developed an instinct for capturing the narrative and the aesthetic of a wide variety of cultural settings and life events.
